Ok I had the exact same problem but I fixed it. You can download the patch manually from the website listed in your game files. (I forget which it was) but it was in the download section of the client site. Anyway download that to the cache file a...

I get stuck at "Entering space" sometimes and I just hit "esc". Usually it goes away and the game continues.
